My name is Rob, I am a simple guy. I follow the golden rule, treat others how you want to be treated. Currently employed by the Four Seasons Hotel as a cook, I am a personal trainer when I'm not cooking. I've been producing music for about 4 years now and have 1 album. I am working on my second album and hoping to find inspiration from new people and experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I will be moving to France in April and need places to stay while I travel to various cities before I arrive in Lyon. I will be going to Geneva, Lyon, and Split and would really like to meet people who know the area.

Interests

I enjoy computer music, recently Bonobo, FKJ,Dillon Francis, Thievery Corporation, Matthew Dear, Tim Hecker, Nujabes, 9 in Common, and Oliver Nelson. I also really enjoy classical music from any era but really like 21st Century classical like John Cage, Berg, Stockhausen, and Philip Glass. I like social science books like The Tipping Point, The Marshmallow Test, The Power of Habit, The Power of Losing Control, Divine Fury, and Flatland. I enjoy movies like Anchorman, The Life Aquatic, Oldschool, Zoolander, and Dodgeball

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to cook professionally, as well as help someone reach there fitness goals. I play guitar if you'd like to learn the basics of guitar and music theory. I enjoy listening so whatever skill you posses I'd like to learn it. Sharing is caring ha ha.
