About Me
I’m Rob! I went on my first flight when I was 19, and since then I haven’t stopped! I absolutely love going to new places, learning about local customs, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I have live in Ireland for most of my life, I am so proud of my culture and history and love to share this with anyone who wants to know more!
I have lived in Switzerland for a year, this was part of a work experience for my university and I learned french while I lived here. I lived in Seychelles for 3 months for a university work experience!
I spent a year living in Australia too, when I took a year out.
And most recently I moved to Sweden for a work project for 7 months and took that chance to explore the country as much as I could
When I go to country I try to get to see as much as I can, and try not to stay in the one place. I have just started to use couchsurfing but I love it as you can stay with people in all sorts of places and can return the favour if they need to come to your location.
Besides this I enjoy cycling, playing football, pool, music, books, dogs, and in general as a pretty easy going guy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about life in different countries. When I travel, i think it’s so important to meet people who actually live in that place, and to really understand that place and to learn about it
