Just a regular guy who loves travelling! I grew up in Houston and had my first international experience when I studied abroad in Hong Kong and Osaka, Japan. I have been hooked ever since and spend all of my vacation time exploring the world. I'm currently on an 18 month break from work to travel in Europe. Asia and Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I like staying in hostels and meeting international folks, I’m interested in couch surfing to mix it up a bit and get more insight into local life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Not picky overall. Electronic music (especially drum and bass!), 80s music, classic rock, old school rap.
Movies: Not a huge movie guy, but my favorite movie is the Big Lebowski
Books: I read tons of non-fiction of various topic such as psychology, sociology, economics and the sciences.
