About Me
Hello helloooo,
Will try to keep things brief by highlighting some of the buzzwords:
I have a big appetite for all things politics, philosophy, art, music, cinema, photography, dance and many other areas which I would love to discuss and share thoughts on with others.
Trivia: I am originally from Lithuania, grew up in the UK and currently based in Paris (since 2 years ago) :)
I spend a lot of my time these days dancing, reading, thinking, chatting, relaxing, cooking, exploring, playing, loving (in the broadest sense)...
I love to organise events and bring people together (I am part of a small music & dance collective based in Leeds, and I am also formulating something new in Paris based on the concept of 'play) ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Passing by Split on my way to the Island of Vis for the ISSA school (school of social autonomy) and I thought it would be much more pleasant to stay with a local than in a lifeless airbnb on my own.
Interests
Interested in too many different areas (and as a result not much of an expert in many)...
I started breakdancing when I was around 12 years old and through the wider culture of hip-hop I discovered many other interests.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste ranges quite a bit - at university I ran a student radio show with a friend, after that I started djing with friends at parties and events in Leeds. I also collect records and love to listen to music with intention; big fan of - jazz, dub, oud-based, ambient, electronic, acoustic, odd, obscure, funny, serious and everything in-between; good music is good music :)
Some film directors that I resonate with: Agnes Varda, Jonas Mekas, Aki Kaurismäki, Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders, Fredrick Wiseman.
Books range from Satre, John Berger, Kurt Vonnegut to topics of philosophy, politics, ecology and love (without sounding to corny :----)
Teach, Learn, Share
Food and nutritiously curious discussions :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some dance moves and my research of the subject of 'play'
Conversely, I am happy to just exchange in stories, thoughts and passions :)
