CURRENT MISSION

I hope to have as great of a positive impact on as many people as possible. I used to think this meant performing some kind of life altering event, but lately I've contented myself with simply leaving a positive impression on the people I meet.

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid-back guy who's easy to get along with. I'm honest, good-natured and interested in meeting people and making new friends from all over the world. Currently, I am a Peace Corps volunteer and live in Donetsk, Ukraine, where I teach English at a tourism business institute. So I'm finding many opportunities to meet people from a diverse mixture of cultures and countries.

兴趣

I'm a history and current events buff. I spend lots of my time reading the New York Times and articles from the BBC. I also have my nose in novels and history books whenever I can get my hands on them, but in Ukraine, that's not always an easy task. I love writing as much as anything, and I'm a huge baseball fan.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first view of the Grand Canyon--I've never seen anything as huge or felt as tiny and insignificant as I did in that moment. The shear scale of the Grand Canyon is mind-boggling.

I once hiked to the summit of a 12,000 ft mountain in Wyoming. Seeing for miles and miles across Wyoming's plains was another one of those moments that made me feel there are so many things in the world worth seeing.
