My friends would say that I am easy going, laid back, honest, agreeable and that I possess a good sense of humor.

People initially peg me as an all-around solid guy. I know that I am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination (who is?); however, I am inclined to accept the "solid" descriptive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am divorced. My ex and 2 kids live in East Hampton, NY. I would love to see my kids more often than I do (every three to four months) but I talk to them every day. I have stayed with my ex in East Hampton and also my ex mother in law in Wainscott; however, I would love to exercise other options. I have found that East Hampton motels are expensive and not that nice given the higher than average cost (generally speaking). Camping at some of the area campgrounds in the area might be alright sometimes, but not in cold, snowy weather.

I am a newbie.

I like to travel, participate in sports / exercise regularly, and I especially enjoy live music. I have been doing volunteer work, part-time, at a library for awhile also - one of my masters degrees was in library science. I am driven but I also like to take time out and have fun. I am an Elite Yelper and love Yelp.com. I play organized adult league co-ed kickball (both WAKA and GO).
