About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently cycling across canada!
ABOUT ME
I've been getting into traveling in the last 5 years. I work as a web designer but have taken some haitus time for myself to explore the world. I think experiences are very rewarding and don't worry about getting more material gain. I'd rather meet new people and see the world. I'm a pretty laid back person, and tend to go with the flow when it comes to traveling, and don't get stressed out very easily.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be intentional in my life. When I want to travel somewhere or pursue a new pastime I will dive in fully and do it, rather than talking about doing it. I don't think people should live stuck to their jobs or possessions, so I believe in responsible use of money, working hard, but not letting it control my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted by quite a few cyclist hosts through the service warm showers (very similar to couch surfing but specifically for touring cyclists).
I've never been hosted by a couch surfing user yet.
Interests
I love rock climbing, hiking, playing and listening to music, drinking scotch, and of course cycling! Cycling is huge for me right now as I am in the middle of a cycling tour across canada.

Music, Movies, and Books
life is beautiful, waking life, alien, coffee and cigarettes, triplets of belleville, butch cassidy and the sundance kid
life of pi, the little prince, the god of small things, the power of one, the beach, all quiet on the western front, sunshine sketches of a little town, lord of the rings, CS Lewis (cosmic trilogy, narnia, till we have faces, screwtape letters, mere christianity)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In thailand I had a minute and a half in a boxing ring against a muay thai boxer...who then later started to teach me how to box. That was really epic.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are in need of water when either hitchhiking or cycling, find the nearest pullout and lie down with your stuff strewn beside you. This approach ensures that when someone stops they are interested in helping you, rather than trying to flag down every car that passes, that can soon become tiresome if they are not willing to help.
Countries I’ve Visited
Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
