ABOUT ME
I'm a wanna-be expat. I don't hate the U.S., but I've spent enough time there and now desire a change. I like discovering new cities, but I prefer meeting new people (particularly those of a different culture than my own).
PHILOSOPHY
I prefer existence over non-existence. Some quotes I like:
"Your reality, sir, is nothing but lies and balderdash and I'm delighted to say I have no grasp of it whatsoever!" - from Baron Munchausen
"Ideologies separate us. Dreams and anguish bring us together." - Eugene Ionesco.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not much of a cook (yet), if you do any cooking, I WILL do the dishes. I have a lifetime's experience in cleaning up.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet (who wants to be my first!?). I am a member of Servas, which is almost the same as couchsurfing, but a bit more official with interviews and such.
Interests
I spend entirely too much time steeped in entertainment. I make too many movie references but can't seem to help myself. Almost no one in Europe knows the bands I listen to, but a lot of people know David Lynch, so there's a bit of a trade-off. I also like tennis and spicy food.
