About Me
Hi friends!
I still host every once in a while but it’s best to reach me on FB messenger.
I love the adventure and exploration that comes with travel but since I’ve been going back to school for a masters in mental health counseling I haven’t gotten out too far from home. I have done a lot of sailing the last couple years in the San Francisco Bay, but even that has taken a backseat to work and school. I have a punk rock band and I like running and enjoy an occasional craft beer or three.
Recently my hosting has slowed down as my living arrangements have changed. I have to fit in CS hosting in between Airbnb hosting, so it’s just easier to leave my profile set to not hosting. But feel free to ask me if I have space. If I don’t respond here reach out to me on Facebook messenger.
I'm a non conformist and a peace lover. I volunteer in prisons facilitating non violence workshops (pre covid), and currently sit on the statewide board for the international organization, Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP). I am frugal out of habit and principal. Humans are sooo wasteful and shortsighted! Dolphins will certainly take over the world again someday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like travelers more than others. Open-mindedness is crucial for humility, and CSers seem to get it.
