About Me

Hi couchsurfers!

I am trying to get to 100 hosting references. So Don't forget to leave a reference please! Even if it's as simple as, "they are cool" or, " yep, not serial killers". It's a number game at this point.

I love adventure. I have been sailing a lot lately and taking ASA sailing classes. I build cigar box guitars and play rocknroll with some friends weekly. I like running and enjoy an occasional craft beer or three.

I'm a non conformist and a peace lover. I volunteer in prisons facilitating non violence workshops (pre covid), and currently sit on the statewide board for the international organization, Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP). I am frugal out of habit and principal. Humans are sooo wasteful and shortsighted! Dolphins will certainly take over the world again someday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelers more than others. Open-mindedness is crucial for humility, and CSers seem to get it.
