About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be an respectful, grateful CSer
ABOUT ME
I'm a gentleman in his mid-twenties, born in Alaska, raised in Idaho, and living in Oregon. I love people. I assume the best. I make jokes. I have a horrible short-term memory. I dress plainly. And I live simply. Except eating, which I tend to do somewhat extravagantly.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone does the best they can with the information they have; I live to get and give information.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm pretty new to this, but I'd like to use CS to see the realest possible versions of a place when I'm traveling. I'd also LOVE to use it to learn new recipes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Umm, so I have a friend who hosts couchsurfers and she loves it. So I'm out to fill this box with cool stories.
Interests
Cooking, taking pictures, solving problems, conducting research, hiking, rock climbing, playing soccer (football), redditing, hosting parties, making friends, receiving advice, hunting for amazing restaurants, and planning my next big trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding the train south of Interlaken, Switzerland, I snapped a picture with the most gorgeous waterfall, a pea-sized little community, miles away, and a little boy swinging on a homemade swing.
Stepping out into a 15-foot-wide, 70-foot-deep canyon south of Los Angeles, and landing safely in a deep, navy blue river.
Hiking through the Lake District in England, near the boarder of Scottland.
Teach, Learn, Share
My areas of expertise are Music, Filmmaking, Photography, and Philosophy. I love a good chat! I've studied and travelled in Europe and I love sharing the little lessons I've learned.
I'm interested in learning more about computer science, bike mechanics, and honestly anything else.
