About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Equatorial Guinea & São Tomé and Principe, Africa (2023)

ABOUT ME

I have lived in San Diego, California since 2011 with my two kitties Takis and Meeka. Before and while earning my Master's Degree I traveled a lot more than I have been recently, but I took some time out from travelling to work a normal job and get normal pay (for those of us travelers we know how this can be a very rare thing). Now, I have been saving a bunch of air miles up so that I can travel everywhere! I love Couchsurfing not only because it's a cheaper way to go, but one of the main reasons I like to travel is to get to know new people and make new friends. I am a gay male who is very friendly, respectful and would love to meet people like-minded.

PHILOSOPHY

Love others and hopefully they'll love you back. If not, just know you tried and move on. =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never been in a position where I could host travellers however now that I have a spare couch and it is something that I would like to open up to foreigners who would like to get to know San Diego and even gay San Diego if you like, but this is of course not a requirement. =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have participated in Couchsurfing in Maui, Hawaii Nice, France, and Portugal so far and they were all good experiences. I would like to do it more and host more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Mylène Farmer is my #1 favourite music artist. I also love Kate Ryan, Vocal trance, House, Electro-pop, Reggae, R&B, Reggaeton, and the list goes on...

My favourite movie is "Jeux D'enfants" by far!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is just to make things happen! I moved to and lived in New Zealand for 13 months because I like to make things happen that I think may not come into fruition.

I have since lived in 5 other foreign countries.

So just do it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have had to create a study abroad program for myself in Uruguay, Interned for Tsunami Recovery in Samoa, work with non-profit humanitarian organizations for Human Rights in Chile and México, and have installed water pumps and help children get back into education services in Uganda Africa. I am happy to teach and talk about all or any of my adventures and experiences!
