ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town on the lake in Michigan. I studied mathematics at undergrad and graduate school in the United States. Moving to a foreign country (Lithuania) sounded like a crazy adventure, and a wonderful opportunity to serve students from Eastern Europe. I truly enjoy working with students and fully diving into the local community. Now I live in Phoenix and teach at a classical charter school. I am a fairly open guy and enjoy a good laugh.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to meet with couchsurfers when I can and introduce them to the local community. I hope to connect with couchsurfers during my time in Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to the couchsurfing community, and looking forward to the many adventures to come! I have enjoyed learning from the couchsurfers I've met so far.

兴趣

I enjoy experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. I'm open to trying anything new, but enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, snowmobiling), cooking, coffee, books, and listening to live music. One of my favorite experiences was attending a samba club in Rio de Janeiro with friends.

On a more nerdy note, I had the opportunity to visit the 7 Bridges of Konigsberg in Kaliningrad. This is a favorite mathematical problem of mine.
