I'm a twenty-five year old artsy type, with an appreciation for food, culture, and connection. I'm a deep thinker with a semi-lazy lifestyle. I work in a high end dessert cafe in Providence, Rhode Island. At work I'm high energy, happy, helpful, and fun. Out of work I spend most of my time reading, blogging, taking care of chickens, making herbal products (soap, lotion, shampoo, bath salts, smelling salts, etc), sketching, baking, eating, and being generally pretty lazy. I love art and I've tried many many many different ways of channeling that energy. From ballet, to sketching, painting, writing short stories, 3D modeling and design, website development, some graphic design, photography, video production, the list continues. I can be quite shy and kind of quirky, but I open up easily with a glass of wine and a sparked conversation about mutual interests. I have a strong love and appreciation for life. Meeting new people and exploring new and foreign ideas is very important to me. I love expanding my mind and world view and I think travel is a very very important aspect of that. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only ever been to a few places, because the idea of traveling always seemed a little scary, and really expensive. After talking to a few friends about places they've gone and how they afforded to do it, I came upon Couchsurfing. It seemed like such a good way to meet new people and see new and beautiful things. So, here I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I turned 21 I went on a family trip to Europe! It was a very short 10 day trip, but in that time I got to see so many beautiful things. We went to Brussels, Munich, Amsterdam, and Paris. We went to Oktoberfest, enjoyed Amsterdam's beautiful culture, went to the Louvre, and watched my cousin run a 10k in Brussels. It was a great trip, and I'd love to go back and spend some more time submersing myself in the many different cultures.
