Organising a cycling expedition to Iceland

ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a nomad really, having travelled in about 25 countries almost entirely by bicycle and sailing boat between 2010 and 2012. I'm presently back in the UK, where I'm a technical consultant for the digital industry (yawn). Planning on returning to university in September to study Ocean Science.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch surfed in various places around the world. Not been in a position to host anyone for a while but that should change very soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mainly staying with people in faraway places - Guatemala, Antigua, Colombia, Argentina. I used it quite a lot when I was on my bike in South America, as well as the cycling-specific hosting exchange site Warm Showers.

Centres d'intérêt

Cycling. Mountain walking. Sailing. Cinema - I have a degree in film studies so I'm either the best or the worst cinema date ever. Listening to, dancing to, making and generally appreciating music in all its forms. Welding - I like building stuff, especially bicycles. Drinking too much coffee.

- Spending a year cycling 15,000km from the top of South America to the bottom.
- Crossing the Atlantic on a sailing boat and coming across a pod of sperm whales
