Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favourite thing when traveling is just to meet locals, hang out and get to know the people. At this moment I'm traveling around Europe (mostly France) to meet people, try out different regional cuisines, and improve my French (I'm nearly fluent).

I have very modest expectations as a CSer. A couch or a bed to sleep on, and a little bit of French conversation are all I'm looking for. If, beyond that, you'd like to show me around your city, grab some dinner or some drinks, or even bring me along while you run errands, even better! Since I'm trying to improve my French, that sort of day-to-day experience is more appealing to me than typical tourist experiences right now.

Si vous vous intéressez à dîner ou boire avec moi, à me montrer votre ville, ou simplement m'emmener pendant vos courses quotidiennes, tant mieux ! Puisque j'espère améliorer mon français, de tels expériences me seront plus valables que des expériences typique d'un touriste.

Books: big Murakami fan. Also: Hilary Mantel, Julian Barnes, Kazuo Ishiguro, Robertson Davies.

Movies: Tarantino, arthouse dramas.
