About Me

Hello :)

I'm a young man, leaving here in Milan since about 15 years ago.
For a living, I am working in the Sales Administration of a French SW company.
I've been born in Palermo and still I love to spend part of the summertime in Sicily.
I like listening to music, especially I do really appreciate live concerts, where you can sing along and maybe dance .. :) ..
I have been practicing yoga for longer than 10 years (now quitted, as I am exploring other means of understanding the world I live) and that discipline has thought much so to me, I mean in terms of understanding reality as it is, always seeking for truth within all kind of relationships, acceptance as a way to build strong feelings and friendships, self-esteem, self-contentment ... :) You will see I like to talk a lot, but also I am amused by listening to other people tales, their own special understanding of life and humans and the universe itself ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to understand other place's through the eyes of locals and help other people interested in the same thing.
Also, I hope to meet and know people, make new friends, learn and teach anything I could: from speaking languages to cooking foods, understanding cultures and their stories, songs and dances ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Jazz, Blues and World music, Wess Montgomery is one of my favorite guitarists. Rock, Pop, Indie, Electronic music are vital to me as well.
Movies: Sci-fi and Comedies and ... well I am not really good at remembering titles..Can I say "Star Wars" ... all episodes ... ? ^__^' ...
Books: Paul Auster is one of my recent discoveries in Literature and I am quite into his writing style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked the Camino De Santiago...well not the 850 Km, just a 100 miles, but I traveled with with my father, for the first time. It was a three years ago (he's now almost 70 years old). The deep and amazing part of this voyage has been to finally, actually get to know and understand each other.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Italian. A few Songs on Guitar. Mediterranean and Southern Italian cooking and recipes. A few yoga asanas and relaxation/breathing techniques.
Learn: new songs, local recipes, history of the cities, their own culture and habits ..
Share: can play music together, see places, participate events together and talk about life on Earth :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My house is a 2 level tiny apartment in Milan, 7 minutes walk from the Central Railways Station (Milano Centrale).
I can host up to three people, depending on my duties and availability.
There is one bathroom only, in the first story downstairs and it will serve both me and my guest/s.
In the same level, you would be given a bed or two (a very large sofa where 2 people can sleep and another single sofa bed for the third guest, which I find comfortable too)
The two levels are linked through a simple spiral staircase, so you can see there is not a real door between the two stories.
If I am in at night, I would keep the upper level for myself, and leave the first story downstairs to my guests, so they can access the bathroom at anytime on the same level.
No TV, but there is free wifi internet access.
You can use the washing machine, but keep in mind there is no dryer.
There are a couple guitars... and the neighbor she's deaf, so you (or we) can sing aloud ... :)
I would be very glad to offer a nice breakfast in the morning (just inform about any special request/allergies/intolerances).
Always, when possible, I would love to walk you through the city and show you around, give hints on places where to go and so on.
Smiles are welcome and given for free. Hugs as well are available at no cost :)
