About Me
Oh gosh, so many things to say! First of all, I am sorry for my English! I may have some mistakes since English is not my mother tongue, but hopefully I can explain myself well enough! :)
Currently, I am finishing up my high school years, just about to go to university... it sounds crazy for me! I have always been a huge fan of travelling, discovering new cultures, food and people, and exploring new countries! Life without travelling would be soooooo boring, right? I don't think there is any better way of escaping your comfort zone!
I describe myself as a very open-minded person, willing to know everything about any other cultures in this world (or even outside Earth, who knows), and above all willing to help others to be happy. I believe happiness does not only consist in benefitial things for you, but for as much people as you can. Justice, equality and all the fundamental human rights are things we still need to fight for. I also love a good discussion about any topic I know about. You are gonna need to wait to meet me in person to know more!
P.S.: You can find me at Instagram! @mrbulle.fay
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, Couchsurfing meets all my criteria above! When I discovered it, I couldn't believe it! What a great way to travel and discover new people! But if I need to highlight one thing it would be this: with Couchsurfing, you really get to know the reality of wherever you go. Just being a simple turist can get you to visit the main monumentos, buying the typical souvenirs or even eating at some good restaurants, but just when you know the locals you really experience the culture!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to pop music, but I don't really have a favorite stlye. I can like anything from a good old Spanish flamenco song that I listen to in the Feria de Abril (for real, search it, it's an amazing party originally from my city) to a modern hip-hop theme.
My favorite movie is The Impossible... yeah I know what you are thinking! I know it's a very sad disaster drama movie, but the things it makes me feel are so powerful! You learn to value what you have when you see that movie.
I don't really read books, but there is one I LOVED so much: 1984 by George Orwell. We need to be careful if we don't wanna end up like Winston!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I think the most incredible thing I have ever done is leaving my whole family, friends and world behind me when I accepted a scholarship I won. Yes, I won a scholarship that paid for everything I needed and allowed me to study in the USA during my entire junior year in high school! I am really proud of it tbh. Leaving Spain to discover the American culture for a year was great! I fell in love with everything... except the food hahaha (nothing can replace a good Spanish paella). I enjoyed my year in Arkansas sooooo much, and I met so many amazing people. Actually, it was my host-mum (an amazing and brave woman I must say) who introduced me into Couchsurfing! I had my first Couchsurfing experience with her, visiting Colorado, and it was so cool! Thanks to her, I am here today!
Being out of my comfort zone for a year really made me grow as a person!
