About Me

Speak english, y espanol. I grew up both in Puerto Rico, and United States. Both countries played a big part in my upbringing. I have always had a desire to travel, joined the Navy with that thought, but spent 5 years and didn't set foot on single foreign country due to nature of my job, role.

I got all my travel after leaving the military, Paris was my first venture out of the North American/Caribbean area, and haven't stopped since.

My current job has been traveling at about 80%, with 90% of that being international.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in Raleigh NC, but I feel like an outsider. Most of my time here I lived here I was married and didn't really expand my friend group. Now I am divorced, and spend little time here. I can show you around Seoul, Shanghai, Frankfurt, Berlin, among others, but ask me where to go in the RTP area and my knowledge is limited, but growing.

One of my biggest challenges when traveling is meeting people as I usually travel alone and most travelers I come across travel in at least 2's so I know how lonely travel can feel after you been away for awhile. I had a random conversation about this with someone and they said I should look into Couchsurfing.. so here I am. Seeing if ether I can help alleviate this challenge for someone, or if I decide to, someone can alleviate it for me.
