About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting started on accomplishing a dream of a lifetime, moving to TN to start up a new adventure!

ABOUT ME

I am a guy from Mexico about to start a new adventure as a PhD in the US. Very passionate about my career, hope to become a researcher in the future. Pretty laid back, enjoy good conversations. I've lived for a short term before in Wisconsin and Massachusetts, now I'm staying for a little while longer in Tennessee. Very sarcastic sometimes I should say, with a good sense of humor.

PHILOSOPHY

Among the lessons I've gathered in my short life, I would say that some memorable ones are not to take everything too serious, to always give people a chance to know them and to know you, and to be patient. I know, I know, veri cliche...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Killers, The Cranberries, Aerosmith, Florence and the Machine, Rock in spanish, etc. I try to listen a little from everything.
Movies: Absolutely loved Nolan's Batman, Les Miserables, Chicago, Phone Booth... Just some of my favorites
Books: Angels and Demons, Da vinci Code, Wicked, The Alchemist, City of the Beasts..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a few things that I'm proud of. Back in the day
I was able to travel many places in my country to participate in chemistry national contests. Amazing things I've seen: Mexican Pyramids, especially Chichen Itza during spring equinox. Still waiting to see those northern lights in this lifetime!
