Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been hosting a lot and was hosted only once. Trying also to help people when they coming to Japan.
I had some great experiences when hosting. But I am really thinking seriously about leaving this community. After seeing how many prejudices people here have, others inciting fellows on frauds and thinking they are acting right, profiles full of stupid demands I am really concerned of the future of this community.
No community is perfect. But I thought CS was more about seeing things with different eyes, accepting differences and being honest. What I've been seeing here is the opposite: Violent discussions inside the communities, people with profiles full of barriers and nonsense rules. And more surfing than sharing. Please come with your heart open and make this experience better for both of us.
Arts in general, moviemaking, video and electronic arts, social sciences, immigration, identities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing? I am not so convinced about myself doing amazing things. Still, I think to live with less things is an amazing thing. Anyway, you can check what I have been doing here:
My first individual publication is already available. It is a digital album named 'Kome'. It is free and, unfortunately, only in Portuguese.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach videomaking techniques, Portuguese and Japanese languages. And discuss about immigration and identity formation. And I would love to learn photography. And I think I have something to share about my experience in Japan.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Chile, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Macao, Netherlands, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom
