About Me

A friendly guy that wants to move out of state.

from my website "An artist from Irwin PA, I grew up surrounded by fields, and grass, and trees, and plenty of stars to stare at at night. With this inspiration I developed a love for creating fantasy and scifi characters creatures and scenes. I am now freelancing as an illustrator and aspiring to be a character concept artist for games and films."

That explains me, aside from that, I like to play games, can fix and build computers, am a neat freak and have anxiety and am very shy because of it.

That said I can be quite talkative with the right people. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to find a way to move out west. (west coast, San Francisco or Pasadena preferably)

I also might use this frequently afterwards for shows, and to generally travel everywhere.

More specifically, I'm also trying to find employment with a studio out west, but moving out there and being out there would be a major plus whether or not initially I am working where I want.

I Just want to find a place to stay as cheap as possible until I can get work (any work) so I can get a place there.

I had initially made this account because I wanted to travel the world, but it sat there for years while I struggled with illness (now dealt with) so now that I am healthy I have goals in mind.

That said I am happy to host some guests myself if it is urgent, because that is what good humans do, and I like to think even though I don't believe in Karma or religion,

Tons of books too same thing, mostly scifi, fantasy, and things like Sherlock and Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy (also H.P. Lovecraft)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am bad at meta-cognition, so this seems arrogant but I Survived 3 surgeries and 3 infections resulting from my bad colon in 2014.

I do not consider my degree "Amazing" nor my art, and I certainly can't count the shows I've been to and the things I've done in my field or my day job "Amazing" so I suppose the most amazing thing I've done is survive that.

It really kind of changed my outlook on everything, and gave me a sense of what carpe diem means, so there's that.

Teach, Learn, Share

My motto is "don't be boring", even if you're unskilled you can at least be interesting.

My other motto is something my grandmother used to say "everything comes out in the wash"

I can't really teach things here, if I'm there I can teach you how to draw, how to see things, but really my only use on the internet is being like my dad and having a library of quotes and sayings.

I can also teach you how to fix, modify, and build computers. It's my hobby.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, and I can clean. I can research and I can fix computers.

I'll also paint you nice things in oils or in digital. :)
