i'm gay, retired from the Coast Guard and work for the state of alaska as an instructor at a technical institute teaching in the maritime program. I am also an Episcopal priest and spent 5 years as Chaplain at a maximum security prison.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to host if I'm around. Surfed my first CS couch and had a fantastic time. Have hosted a few people and always have a great time hearing new stories and experiences. I have to admit my dogs are terrible hosts! They are rescue dogs who had a hard life in their early years and tend to be fearful of others and overly protective of me. They bark, they growl and are a general pain in the rear for visitors. But as long as you love dogs and just ignore their outbursts, you are more than welcome. Brigit will actually cuddle up for petting sometimes immediately right after growling at you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very new, but my first experience with a CSer was great. Looking forward to many more.
