Hi folks! I am a passionated traveller, someone with an hop-on-hop-off-relation with his hometown Hamburg who's active in hospitality exchange networks for over ten years. I used to organise the large couchsurfing festivals in Hamburg as well as weekly events or the Hospitality Exchange Summit in 2021. There is so much potential of creating tolerance in these networks and I'll keep on going as long as I can.

After planning this since 2014 and having four failures, I finally managed to start a new chapter in my life. These days I am living, working and travelling around Australia, New Zealand and Canada - let's see for how long it works out 😉 .

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Cultural exchange, welcoming people in Hamburg and exploring countries through its people had been a part of my life for a long time now. I really appreciate this - it influenced me A LOT.

Giving you a few examples, I now... :
- put much more trust into the unknown and reduced expectations instead
- appreciate the small things and got more relaxed in difficult situations
- reduced stereotypes of people from other countries and instead get exciting about listening to their story
- gained trust in travelling around. It feels like a huge freedom.
- found a way that I more follow my inner feelings and less follow instructions.

Honestly, it's difficult to find words for all this.

Anyway... I look forward to many more nice experiences in meeting people in the world or organizing events at home.
