About Me

I'm 22 years old, American-Irish dual citizen, and recent college graduate. I'm planning on moving to Europe to live and work, specifically to Sweden or The Netherlands. I'll be visiting in late September and moving early in 2017. I'd love to find work in research, R&D, engineering, programming, or a related technical field. However I'm open to any position that would support me initially while I work toward my career goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Initially, I'm hoping to meet with people, local residents of the places I'll be visiting in the fall. I love meeting new people, and I'm excited to learn about the history, culture, lifestyles, and employment opportunities of each area from the people who live there.

When I come over next year, I might need a place to stay until I can find permanent residence. I'm currently living with my mother so unfortunately I can't offer any opportunities for guests to stay here. But I would be glad to do odd jobs or help around the house to compensate my hosts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like teaching people and sharing knowledge. Most of my own is scientific (predominately physics) and I have a minor engineering skill set. I know a bit about sailing and computers. I'm interested in learning about local history, culture, and recreation. I also love debating as long it's good natured and friendly. Lastly, I know way more about American politics than anyone (including myself) would care to know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pleasant company, life experiences (stories of old, creation of new), passions in entertainment and the arts, helping around the house. I like going on adventures and exploring both urban and natural environments.
