We are Helene and Robin and travelling together for about 8 months. Our first stop is New Zealand. We are going to stay here for 4 months.

I love music and sports. I played electric guitar for some years and do some fitness back in Germany, but I also like playing basketball when there is sun outside. Hanging out with friends and playing games or going out at night on weekends is always fun. I like watching American Football, but I would like earning knowledge about rugby as well.

This is my profile but as I'm travelling with my girlfriend, she should also tell you something about her: I am Helene, 26 years old and currently a student of Aerospace Engineering at University of Stuttgart in Germany. In my free time I like to meet my friends, do some shopping or just watch Netflix. As excercise I like going to the gym and I have ballett class once a week. When I was younger, I took horseback riding lessons and I still enjoy going riding every once in a while. Generally, I'm a huge animal lover(especially dogs), except for spiders. I can also play the piano, but not nearly as good as I would like to ;) A nice beer or a glass of wine combined with good talks and great music is a perfect evening for me.

Both of us want to learn surfing. I would love to see a rugby game live as it is part of New Zealand, isn't it?
We want to spend our time with cool new people, learn about local stuff and the living here and enjoy life together.
We like playing cards and board games as well as going out and having some drinks together. Also, cooking together is fun as we enjoy food a lot.
Seeing new awesome places and meeting local people is what we want to experience on this trip. We would be so happy, if you could be a part of that!

Music, Movies, and Books

Our favourite band is Linkin Park. Other than that, we like listening to rock music or sometimes hip hop and electronic music.
We watch all kinds of movies (Quentin Tarantino is great) but mostly we watch series.
The Harry Potter books are great but we also like reading thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Robin:
I had a lot of great exeriences in my life. The last one was to brew beer with a friend by ourselfes and it tasted not so bad.

Helene:
When I was 16, I lived in the US for a year as an exchange student. That was the best experience I've had so far.
