About Me
Hi, I'm Robin—23 years old and full of curiosity about the world. I’m eager to see it all with my own eyes and uncover the amazing treasures it has to offer. I’m a very open-minded person who loves meeting new people, discovering new places, and living unforgettable experiences.
Nature is my happy place—I’m really into hiking, wild camping, and swimming. Ever since I joined the scouts, I’ve been hooked on the outdoors and the thrill of adventure. That said, I also enjoy the buzz of city life. I grew up in the countryside right next to Brussels, which gave me a deep appreciation for both peaceful rural surroundings and the energy of the city.
Right now, I feel like I’m at the perfect age to soak in as much as I can—exploring, learning, and truly living life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Couchsurfing because I’ve done it a few times already and absolutely loved it. There’s something amazing about meeting locals who can show you the real heart of the place you're visiting—the hidden gems you’d never find in a guidebook. Locals just know what’s best!
But more than that, I’m in it for the discovery: of new places, new people, different ways of thinking, and unforgettable experiences. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to stay—it’s about connecting, learning, and sharing. That’s what makes it so special.
Music, Movies, and Books
music: I can enjoy everything from jazz to classic music to hip hop, whaterver suites my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited Iraq through Couchsurfing and had an absolutely amazing time. It felt incredibly authentic—the people were some of the kindest I’ve ever met, and the country is honestly stunning. From the hospitality to the landscapes, it really left a deep impression on me. It’s one of those trips that reminds you how much beauty and goodness there is in the world, especially when you travel with an open heart.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m sure I can learn a lot from everyone I meet—and I’m really eager to do so! :)
But I’ll leave the learning and sharing for when we actually meet in person. Looking forward to it!
