a parent of two I have worked in numerous areas from agriculture to education, radio to high end jewelry sales and for the USDA. I love to travel and meet people and would rather car camp and live on crusty bread to save my travel funds for theater and adventure but as my daughter says one cant car camp in winter or major cities. I don t need entertained , unless you d like, or expect you to cater to me. I have had many animals including llamas and love to look at almost any collection, work on cars to roofs, or ballroom dance, organize film series or school activities and event plan. I love both ends of the spectrum .

One can't always afford delightful inns and I hate to put the majority of funds into bland hotels,.almost every trip abroad I ve been taken in somewhere. I m harmless and find half my enjoyment comes from the people I meet so seems like a good match.

Books, love them, people, animals. ...hmmm film, theater, hipster I guess, most of my friends are former students or theater friends. Love to see odd little museums, or odd little sites like a boxite house or the jungle.

Fav books The Magnificent Ambersons, any old young adult series from Tarzan to the Battleship Boys, .liked the Gospel According to Larry series, Mitford series, etc. movies from Ma and Pa Kettle to art house such asTwin Falls Idaho and , Rushmore to Smoke Signals and who can t love sports films like Hoosiers or classics like Mr Smith Goes to Washington. Music wise I play several instruments, not gifted, and am happy for the resurgence of folk groups like FleetFoxes and Avett Bros

Gee, tough one. Managed to get in to last Edinburgh performance of the entire Tattoo. And have two now adult daughters surprised by drugs and not into partying but yet very hipster cool. Oh did I mentioned staying all night at Alex Haley s best friend Fred s house. That was a gift, I wish was recorded.
