About Me

In daily life I'm a student studying in Amsterdam. This year is my fourth year of hanging around at university. I'm 21 years old, and always optimistic (at least trying to). >>> At the moment I'm enjoying Lisbon as part of my Erasmus exchange <<<

CURRENT MISSION
Saying yes to as much as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great platform to easily meet people from all over the world. And that's why I'm on Couchsurfing, because I'm fascinated by people, their culture, and why they do what they do.

Interests

I like to discuss and philosophize about politics, economics and people. Friends are very important for me, and I really like to hang out with them, have a beer or just seek some random adventures. I'm also a huge soccer and baseball fan, but I like sports in general :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Since 2 years or so I really "reinvented" the joy of reading. Among the books I've read are Dan Brown's Digital Fortress (I can recommend that one), and Alex Ferguson's or Steve Jobs' biography. But I also like to challenge my brains by reading books about the economy, about politics or why capitalism sucks ;-)
Movies? Netflix is one of the best inventions ever! Laying in bed with my laptop and watching How I Met Your Mother, Homeland, Inception, or House of Cards is something I really enjoy.
Concerning music, I like a broad range of genres. Techno, house and deephouse are the more computer-based genres I listen to, but I also enjoy listening to Jazz, rock, alternative and Bob Dylan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We hiked from Poland to Czech Republic through the mountains . The views were gorgeous, the company amazing and the adventure itself epic.

Teach, Learn, Share

When setting goals, they have to be a mix of realism and optimism. If they are, dedication and motivation will help you achieve them.
If you're interested, I can share my knowledge about organizations, business administration and sociology with you!
One thing I want to learn is surfing, and if I'm lucky I will finally get the opportunity to do in September :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
