About Me

I'm Robin
I'm an engineer by background, an entrepreneur by passion, and a bit of a wanderer by heart. Currently building assistive robotics at my startup, working on wearable exoskeletons to help people with mobility challenges walk again.
I split my time between India and the UAE, and occasionally in other parts of the world for work or travel. When I’m not working on tech stuff, you’ll find me exploring local markets, learning new languages or just enjoying long walks with good music.
I believe the best stories come from people rather than places, which is why I love the Couchsurfing spirit it's not just about finding a bed, it’s about sharing lives, cultures, and ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe the best part of travel isn’t the landmarks it’s the people.
Couchsurfing has given me a way to experience places through local eyes, share real conversations, and form connections that no guidebook can offer.

As someone who's been helped, inspired, and hosted by amazing people during my travels, I’d love to give back in any way I can whether by hosting, helping, or simply sharing a moment.

Traveling, to me, is not just movement it's a mindset. And Couchsurfing feels like a community that lives that idea fully.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I co-founded a startup that built a modular robotic exoskeleton to help people with paralysis walk again and I got to see someone take their first steps in years using something we created.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can share insights from my journey building assistive tech and running a startup especially in robotics, healthcare, and social impact. I can also teach you how to make proper Indian chai, some basic Malayalam or Hindi phrases.

Learn:
I love learning about history, languages, and cultures. Whether it’s local legends, traditional recipes, or a few words in your native tongue I’m always curious. Right now I’m focused on Emirati Arabic and would love to practice or exchange language tips.

Share:
Happy to share stories from my travels, perspectives from my culture, music, books, or just good vibes. Whether it’s walking through an old city, cooking together, or having a long chat about the past and future of the world .

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good conversations, stories from my travels and startup journey, and a lot of gratitude.
I’d be happy to cook a homemade Indian meal, help around the house, or share some music or books you might enjoy.
If you're curious about tech, I can show you some of the cool things we're building at my startup.

Most of all, I’ll respect your space, your time, and your way of living and hopefully bring some positive energy with me.
