ABOUT ME

If you would ask my best friends about me, I think that they would say that I'm a very friendly person. Always helpful and tolrenat of other opinions. If my friends and I arrange things, I'm always looking that I find a way to make it comfortable for everybody, so that noone will have a bad or boring time. Also I think that they would say that I'm a person who likes sports. I'm always trying to do my best and maybe sometimes I'm too ambitious. Maybe they would also say that I'm a family man, because I like it when my family is around or when I'm just at home sitting together with everybody.

PHILOSOPHY

For me personally I think that it's very important to treat people the way you want to be treated yourself. I never had problems with others and I hope that more people will live that way. I can't understand that there're so many violence, wars and lies in this world. For me I've to say that's a very very sad world today ... so many bad news ever day ... :( and I hope that it'll change in future when people understand that it doesn't work that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to visit the girlfirend of my best friend, together with him in Portsmouth in November this year. We heard about couchsurfing, so I started to create an account and have a look around on the website. We hope to find someone who spend four nice and interesting days together with us in Portsmouth.

Interests

A great passion of mine is soccer. I'm playing soccer for myself in a club in Essen. Otherwise I love watching all kind of soccer games. But most I'd like to watch/and go the stadium in Dortmund (Borussia Dortmund, I'm a fan since I was a little child (: ). I also do a lot of things on the pc, like playing games, surf the internt or programming. Another very important and always funny hobby is to go out with my friends, watch some movies or just hang around. I love it when we sit together, order pizza and watch a nice horrormovie :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Mostly watching Action- and Hoorormovies with my friends. But I also like nature documentary.
(Sharkwater, Halloween, 96 hours, Jurrasic Park, American pie 1-4, Lord of the rings ... )

Music: I'm a person who listens to all kind of music if the song is nice :) But my favorite band is Blink 182. This year I was lucky to hear them live in Essen ! (Very nice evening !! :D)

Books: I don't really read a lot. But I like adventure stuff, like Ed Staffords "Walking the amazon river", or Robert Jacobis "Amerika der Länge nach: Meine Reise auf der Panamericana". I also like the crazy stuff. For example books about conspiracyies or a good thriller/horror story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ok, one awestruck moment was when I first visited the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund (Stadium of Borussia Dortmund). I saw the southern terrace and the whole stadium (with a capacity of 80.000 people) and just tought: Wow ! :D. All the people and the noise ... it was just awesome. Incomparable to anyhting I've ever saw.

Second I think was when I stand in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It was just so high ... I looked to my girlfriend and we both just were impressed by this imposing building.

At least another awestruck moment happend this year. It was when I finished my apprenticeship and came out the exam room with my test results. It was a really really joyful moment for me to know that I've passed with a nice result and could start working the next day :).
