About Me

I love to travel (I'm a geography major, what can I say?) and meet new people. I also love food, and all things related to it. My passion and profession is writing short stories about my travels. If you host me, I just might write a short story about it (if you would like me to)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurf, but I don't host yet.

I've surfed in Ireland, California, Oregon, Virginia, Czechia (formerly Czech Republic), Slovakia. and Poland.

Writing, cooking, traveling and being with friends are my favorite things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any indie or classic rock music, and I also like folk music. My favorite musician is Anna Tivel (although she's a really good friend, so I may be a bit biased). I don't watch too much TV or movies anymore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't pick just one. However, eating in Santa Fe, exploring the nooks and crannies of southeast Ireland, eating in Montreal, going to a Polish seafood shack on the outskirts of Gdansk, seeing the goat clock in Poznan, meeting some travelers from Turkey in Warsaw and eating some delicious Turkish food they made, eating traditional Lemko cuisine in Krakow, walking around Prague, getting invited to a barbecue in Melnik, getting invited to a party at a cottage via a host in Jablonec nad Nisou, every single thing in Loket, going to a concert in Jarosov nad Nezarkou, eating Czech food at a pub in Litomysl, hiking in Frenstat pod Radhostem, and hanging out with someone from Sacramento I randomly met at the hostel in Nitra, whose cousin I went to high school with whose graduating class had only 40 people definitely have been some of my favorites.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about geography, so I can teach a lot about that. Anything related to cooking is also definitely something I can talk about. If you host me, let me know if you want me to cook, and I will.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always cook for hosts, share some of my short stories that I've written, and I can provide a lot of good conversation.
