One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most exciting night--proxy drinking for my best friend who couldn't drink for his birthday (I am very much a lightweight). Was totally killing it at karaoke. Lovely dances with strangers. So much awesome in Ybor City. We've since grown apart though, me and my old friend..

Peaceful amazing--Laying down in a park in cuddle puddle with a bunch of other dancers during Chicago Blues festival. Music washing over you with the breeze on warm summer afternoon.

Amazingly alone--Many times, while caving back when in university in various karsts in New Mexico. Turning off headlamp. Feeling absolute darkness and solitude.

Center of universe amazing--Close embrace micro dances and Aikido randoori practice.

Life partner amazing--staying at a beachfront villa and paddle boarding with partner and dog across bay every afternoon for this work trip a while back. The road trip there and back. All the arguments and all the laughs and all the mundane in-betweens. The dog fell off so many times ha..

There are also some amazingly tragic experiences that I cherish as much as the above. Life ain't all sunshine and rainbows after all.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- Blues dance! I'm an advanced beginner of sorts. Can teach basics/improv enough to have fun if there's live music about. Same goes with Aikido, :)
- Gesture drawing (figure drawing). No it doesn't have to be "Draw me like one of your french girls" ha (though quite experience on both sides of the easel). Neat skill for people watching or passing time at meetings. Also good when called upon as eyewitness to crimes. So handy.
- Cooking rice on stovetop without any measuring.

Learn:
- Yo estoy aprendiendo espanol! (muy despacio, desafortunademente . .); So far just duolingo but recognizing enough to get gist of stuff talked about on cnn espanol :D

Share:
- Hosting costs
- Hospitality to host (cleaning, cooking, conversation, company)
- Hilot

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the very least, I'm always ready to karaoke. Caring for pets. Walking/running dog/s.

I can cook basic philippine dishes, breakfast/lunch/brinner, and/or help with. Also can help with errands/tidying up.

English practice.
