Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just living and working around Colorado Springs. I get out and weekend warrior doing stuff when I can. I get the wanderlust pangs often though. Travel will have to happen again eventually.
ABOUT ME
I really have a passion for this Earth and doing my part to make it a better place. I'm really interested in all aspects of sustainable development and renewable energy. I really like working with my hands and building things. I also enjoy watching things grow and would like to have space for my own garden where I can grow veggies here in the near future. I really like live music and festivals and most kinds of music appeal to me depending on what kind of mood I'm in. I'm honest, sometimes to a fault and very loyal as well. I will go out of my way to help somebody out so long as they are appreciative and not a butthole. This whole couchsurfer thing is new and exciting to me. I've typically been a creature of habit and comfortable with the familiar. I've since made a commitment to come out of my shell and embrace the unknown and experience new things.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not religious but I believe that you should always do good for others. The kindness you give out will always come full circle. Don't screw anybody over, be an asshole, or burn bridges. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Wes Anderson is my favorite director, Arthur C. Clarke and Frank Herbert are my favorite authors. I like all kinds of music. I can get down to jam bands, bluegrass, reggae, country, rap, and metal all in the same day. Musical ADD certainly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've ran a car on the Talladega race track up to 165 mph, I've canyon jumped 180 feet in Switzerland, I've been to Machu Pichu and climbed to the top of Huayna Picchu. I've climbed every 14er in Colorado in just under 3 months.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a good bit about the outdoors and working with one's hands. I've always been a very visual, hands on learner and I would be good at teaching people with this in mind. I would also like to learn about and help teach anything relating to living sustainably and reducing one's footprint. I love all that hippy mess.
