About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Looking to host you here, before you host me there!
ABOUT ME
My Husband and I have traveled to 6 continents and haven't found a country (or people in it) that we didn't like. We're kind of opposites - Tim is very active and loves biking, hiking, etc. I have to be honest though, for me, my favorite way to experience a country is through the food. We love meeting new people too.
PHILOSOPHY
It's like Sydney Harris says:
"Regret for the things we have done will be tempered by time. It is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We've been in Asia for five months, where we didn't use the CS as much as we thought we would but now we're back to hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before using this site I ended up hosting some homeless Australians who were interning at my company which was a lot of fun. So after that it didn't seem so strange to open up my house to travelers and we've hosted a few people since then, (we used to live outside the city so we didn't get a lot of CS traffic) and they've all been great experiences
Interests
We love learning new things about different cultures. Between the two of us we're interested in everything: music, books, adventurous sports, history, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
We listen to everything. Love seeing live music shows. Mumford and Sons, The XX, Phoenix, and Vampire weekend are some of our favorites.
Tim's not much of a reader, but I've read everything from Tolstoy and Austin to all the Harry Potter books. We have both read Rolf Potts' Vagabonding.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a couple the most amazing thing we have seen is the Serengeti. We loved it because we expected to see lots animals and think it was beautiful, but the experience was even more breath-taking than we imagined.
Teach, Learn, Share
Did you know vitamins don't really work? I guess this has been completely proven - and yet millions of people religiously take their One-a-days. Maybe I just saved you $10 a month. You're welcome.
