We don't really know how to put all of our information together.. So we are just going to pick it apart and make it as easy as possible for you to follow!

This is Rob speaking, and I wake up each day blessed to be here... I try to get lost often in the moment and also be engulfed in it. I live to be in complete awareness of the present. Being alive is a gift and in itself mystery as well. I'm grateful for my life and everyone in it to say the least. Due to this ongoing burning desire I have for traveling, there is no settling down any time soon... I'm always planning my next trip and looking to connect with others. The majority of my travels thus far have been in Europe (England, France, Greece, Germany), the Caribbean (Turks & Caicos, the Bahamas), And many provinces in Canada and states within the U.S.... I was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, CND until I was 11. moved to Niagara Falls/buffalo, NY and have been here ever since.

Here's Jess, and I find that not only the love of my life is Rob, but so is taking care of people! I am a CNA in geriatrics and I wake up everyday to take care of these people! I have found my purpose in life and I feel as though it is for using my compassion, patience, and love to help people who cannot help themselves. I have lived in buffalo all of my life, but I've been through quite a few states- I realized if I'm not taking care of people, I want to be TRAVELING. I found this amazing website and I think it's such a great opportunity to fill me and Robs dream of meeting extraordinary kind people, and traveling all together!

Us as a couple are very simple, we love the little things in life, traveling, good food, and music! We each have our own passions as well as the ones we share together! We spend the majority of our time planning our new adventures. We have only been together for about a year and have experienced so much together. Between trips to New York, (which we couch surfed through an amazing man and gave us such a great experience) and trips to Montreal and Quebec, we have found our true love is traveling and what is even more great is we enjoy it together. We each have had our fair share of traveling apart, I (Jess) have been all over the states, visiting like crazy all different things. I've been in Tennessee staying way up in the mountains, and a beautiful beach resort in Massachusetts. It's all been so beautiful and my urge to continue my journey is growing stronger, and it's amazing I have someone to share it with !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have traveled a lot.. BUT we don't have tons of experience with couch surfing. We couch surfed in New York and it was great, and now we are hooked! We look forward to meeting all the great souls we come in contact with through this site. We are more than happy to contribute anyway possible! Heading out for some drinks, food, cleaning up... Etc. to show that we truly value and appreciate anybody willing to accept us into their home. Cheers all!

Interests

Discovering more possibilities of things that could be of interest to me in the future by traveling as much as I humanly can... As of right now my interests consist of: Playing guitar, drums, percussion, producing music, hanging with my lady :-) , jamming with other talented musicians, laughing, traveling and meeting interesting people world wide, tattoos, art, creating, hiking, nature, taking in the moment, and simply... Being!

My interests (Jess) is: writing, (I was actually published in a poetry book in early high school), tasting all sorts of new foods, constantly trying to learn new things about the body, working out, discovering new music, and adrenaline junky things!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I (Rob) have a wide range of music I listen to... Daft Punk, Joe Satriani, Bluetech, deadmau5, Röyksopp, iLL.Gates, Diplo, Major lazer, and many more ... I keep my options open and certainly don't limit myself. Being a music producer/multi-instrumentalist, I'm always eager to explore many genres and sub genres. I'm appealed to exotic and bizarre sounding sounds... I love Experimental electronic,progressive house, Nu-Jazz, trip hop, hip hop, lounge, rock, ambient, bass house, Nu-disco, deep tech, funk, chillout, and the list goes on....

Movies/Netflix ... Braveheart, interstellar, fear & loathing in Las Vegas, the shining, the walking dead, lord of the rings, I Walk The Line, Indiana Jones, always sunny in Philadelphia, Portlandia, Documentary now, mad men, prison break, sons of anarchy, James Bond 007 movies, the Bourne series, the Martian, the great gatsby, Ace Ventura, yes man, me, myself, and Irene, etc...

Jess: Even though I appreciate everyone's music, and I'm open to all sorts, I'm pretty narrow in the spectrum of music I listen to personally. I have a huge portrait of Johnny Cash on my arm, I'm absolutely obsessed with him. He's with my every day I believe, so obviously Johnny Cash, and a lot of punk indie rock. The Front Bottoms, Brand new, Senses Fail, and some new country I suppose.
