ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town and since leaving, have continued loving my home but always look for new experiences to gain a broader outlook on the world. I've travelled lots in South America and got to feeling guilty about not traveling more in my own country. Consequently, I'm undertaking more trips in Canada, and North America. I also love parks and beaches and the outdoors and long walks and scenic drives.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't waste time worrying about the past, present or future. Learn from the past, think in the present and plan for the future; don't regret anything you do in life, but live life in such a way that you have no cause for regret.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and surfed, and enjoy both sides a lot. I especially like to take people out around the great city of Toronto. Lately, I've been quite in to the local music and arts scene and am excited to bring surfers out to these types of events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some nice people coming through Toronto and have had the pleasure of meeting fellow CSers for drinks or dinner in cities I've lived in briefly for work.

Intereses

Good food and wine, live music, literature (mostly Canadian and Latin American), dancing, languages, travel, photography, long walks and bike rides, art.

Watching the sun rise over Machu Pichu was "breath rejuvenating" after the breathtaking (literally) climb up the mountain.

I speak English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, I've worked lots with children and I am a great ice skater. I'm interested in meeting and learning from people who are creative and artistic in some way shape or form.
