I've had such a great time on couch surfing as my references will show, meeting amazing people and making new friends.

Me: A bit of an intellectual and artist who loves people and social situations, meeting people and understanding them. I am more a European than a Brit, loving the diversity of Europe.

I'm a sociable person who adapts quickly to different people. I won't say too much about myself - you're better reading my references and see what other people say but I've had a great time couch surfing and made many new friends.

For those of you who speak English as your second language I speak BBC English which I'm told makes it far easier to understand me.

I'm on a spiritual journey of faith and I'm a lot less hedonistic than when I started couchsurfing but still determined to show hospitality and share connection.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people and have interesting experiences. I like travelling but it's mostly because of the cultures I experience. I'd like to let these cultural experiences come to me through couchsurfing.

I like guests to want to go out or chat at home and share experiences. If you want to keep yourself to yourself this isn't the place for you.

Interests

I enjoy life drawing and photographing - you'll see some of my photos around my apartment. I play piano (classical and jazz) and sing. So all in all I like to do creative things when I'm not doing my less job as a web developer. I also have a piano if you like to play and also an electric and an acoustic guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled naked around Manchester in an environmental protest. There were two hundred other people though, scary at first but an amazing release when I did it.

I also hosted a couple of naked dinner parties on couchsurfing.

I used to do naked couchsurfing but now I have a flatmate who doesn't share these ideas so that's rarely the case now. For me nudity isn't sexual but all about being your genuine authentic self. You can see that if you scroll back through my references.

I draw, photograph and play piano but most eager to share my passion for cooking with cs visitors.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very clean and tidy, interested to talk about all sorts of things and know some great places to go out in Manchester. My guests seem to have loved to share my interests and places I can take them but if you're on a very tight budget we'll have to find things at home such as art and photography.

A few of my couch surfers have joined me life drawing which they all seem to have enjoyed even though most hadn't done it before.

I also body painted a few couchsurfers and have attached photos to my profile although that's more difficult now I have a flatmate and so I haven't done it for a while.

It seems it's closely linked to my asperges which I was only diagnosed with in 2025
