ABOUT ME

I just graduated from college with a degree in chemistry, and I'm going to make incredibly excellent use of this degree by teaching English outside Paris for a year. I leave for France in late September and am going to find housing once I get there (a recommendation of the program I'm going to be working through). After I'm done with the teaching gig in France, I'm going to come back to the States and hopefully start in an MD/PhD program. I really love doing research and am looking forward to getting back into the lab in a year or so-- I just needed a break before getting back into the academic grind.

PHILOSOPHY

Best advice I ever got: Life isn't a race. I'm excited about a lot of things coming down the road (as you may have noticed by me saying the word "excited" about every sentence).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, so I haven't done much yet. I'm really psyched about traveling, and I'm looking forward to getting involved in CS, both in hosting and surfing, but alas, I don't have a couch to offer just yet. Once I do, dear reader, you will be the first to know.
