About Me

I currently live in Hazleton, PA, with my 14 year old son. I love to travel and have traveled with since his whole life. I believe there is so much to be learned from the open road and the people you meet along the way. I have been to most East Coast states and am currently working on checking off most of the West Coast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a two week vacation coming up where my son and I will be flying into Seattle and out of San Fransisco. There are some things we want to do but we are pretty open minded as to experiences and meeting people along the way. I think it's a great way to learn more about an area that just staying in a hotel with a bunch of other travelers.

Interests

Music, especially live music! Love jambands (Grateful Dead, Phish, etc...)
Love traveling and the great outdoors. Hikes, waterfalls, and caves, are favorites. I like riding bikes, kayaking, flying, and roller coasters.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to fall asleep watching movies so I don't bother often but of my favorites would be Big Daddy. I like an occasional chick flick when I'm by myself and don't have to torture anyone else with them. I like documentaries.
As for music, Jambands would be first but I do love me some country as of recently and pretty much grew up on classic rock and still love it all!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Alaska! Took a train from Anchorage to Talkeetna, then a bus to the resort at Denali. On the way back we skipped the bus and opted for a raft instead to get back to the train. We did a 24 mile bike ride where we ran into a mama moose and baby. We also took a glacier cruise, which was absolutely amazing to see!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share stories and create new memories with new people to tell down the road.

What I Can Share with Hosts
