About Me

Hi,

I am a theater nerd, fitness coach and an acrobat who loves to travel and to meet new people! I am also an avid foodie, coffee connoisseur and seeker of culinary delights as well as beverages of various kinds. Coffee, food and fine alcohol exploration is generally an integral part of my travel itinerary. I love sharing good food and drinks with the people I meet during my travels. I also love learning new things and hearing different perspectives. Some of the conversations I've had with people I've met through Couchsurfing have been eye opening, inspiring and enlightening. I truly enjoy hearing about people's travel adventures, life experiences and personal philosophies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

I love country, opera, musicals and another few genres. I enjoy listening to an eclectic mix of music including Celtic Woman, Aquilo, Hozier among others. Favorite musicals: Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables (I know, cliche). Books, nowadays, I mostly read poetry, memoirs, literary essays, mystery, psychological thriller and fiction that includes things like bio-ethical issues or legal battles.
Some of my favorite authors include: Jodi Piccoult, Anthony Horowitz, Kazuo Ishiguru, Rupi Kaur

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earned a master's degree debt-free!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and swimming instructor-so I can teach any of the above. I am also enthusiastic about sharing my love of acrobatics and yoga, so I'm always glad to do acroyoga or vinyasa yoga with others.
I also know my way around the kitchen and have been known to cook or bartend for hosts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you a free personal training session, or teach you a bit of acroyoga. I am also a kitchen witch, so I can cook and bake for you; you may be enjoying homemade brunch/dinner while I stay if you give me free range in your kitchen. I specialize in breakfast foods like omelets and smoothies. My favorite cocktail that I can create and share (provided there is tequila, Cointreau or triple sec, fresh limes, jalapenos and salt) is a jalapeno margarita.
(I never use pre-made drink mixes, shudder).
