Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi! My name is Rocio, I’m 24 years old, and I’m from Córdoba, Argentina. For the past five years, I’ve been traveling and discovering new places, and I’m lucky to say I’ve had some amazing experiences along the way.
A bit about me: I’m a huge fan of traveling and exploring new cultures. I sometimes work as a Marketing content planner for local businesses in my city. I love writing, reading, and taking photographs. I’m an extrovert, so I can be quite talkative, especially when I’m around of a big group—sorry in advance! I’m passionate about adventure and nature, but I also love the city life and enjoying a good party. If you have a plan in mind, don’t hesitate to ask—chances are, I’ll say yes!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
When I first heard about this platform, I thought it was an amazing opportunity to travel and connect with locals who could share their culture from the inside. It’s a chance to meet new people and discover places that I might not have found without the guidance of someone local. In return, I see it as a great chance to share my own culture and tell people more about Argentina. I must admit, I’m very passionate about my country, and I love carrying a piece of it with me wherever I go.
By the way, I’m also really into languages, and I’m excited to learn the local language while I’m there!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
My favorite movie is definitely Love, Rosie. I know, it sounds cliché and cheesy, but I’ve been a fan of romantic comedies and lighthearted films ever since I was a teenager. I also really enjoy psychological thrillers—they always keep me on the edge of my seat!
As for music, I listen to a little bit of everything. I have to admit, there are certain artists I follow, but I’m a big fan of classic rock, pop, and of course, Latin music. However, if I had to pick a song that would be my all-time favorite, it would be "Truly Madly Deeply" by One Direction. Yep, I’m also a fan of boy bands!
When it comes to books, my current favorite is This Pain Is Not Mine by Mark Wolynn. I read a lot of psychology and spirituality books, but I also enjoy the occasional thriller or romance novel to mix things up.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I think the most incredible thing I’ve ever done is skydiving. Jumping out of an airplane was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’m all about adventure and thrill-seeking activities, and this one really took the cake. My friends gifted it to me for my birthday, and it was absolutely unforgettable. Honestly, it was the moment I realized just how small I am in the grand scheme of the world—it was a humbling, awe-inspiring experience. I truly believe it’s something everyone should try at least once in their life.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I think I could mostly teach you about my country—its culture, traditions, rituals, and of course, its food. I absolutely love cooking traditional Argentine dishes, and it would be amazing to share that with you. I’d also love to teach you a little bit of my language, Spanish, and share some of the unique expressions and nuances that make it so special.
