About Me
Hi! I’m Rocío 🌻
I’m from Argentina and I work as a psychopedagogue (educational therapist).
After a few beautiful years working in my profession, I felt the need to pause, breathe, and follow a dream that had been in my heart for a long time — to travel, explore, and live fully. ✈️🌍
In November, I’ll begin a new chapter with a Working Holiday Visa in France 🇫🇷.
I plan to stay for about a year, travel through Europe, meet people from different cultures, and fill my days with experiences that inspire me and help me grow as a person.
Even though I left my office behind, I still work online with some of my patients, so I can stay connected to what I love while creating space for new adventures.
I’m a calm, curious, and open-hearted person.
I love deep talks, spontaneous laughter, cooking together, sunsets, music, and those little moments that make life special.
I believe that every person we meet brings something valuable into our lives, and I love creating real connections with kindness and respect.
I speak Spanish, a little English (I’m still learning 😊), and I’ve just started learning French.
Even if I make mistakes, I always try — and I think good energy and smiles say more than perfect words.
I have two brothers living in Europe — one in Germany 🇩🇪 and another in Italy 🇮🇹 — so this trip is also a chance to visit them after a long time and to live new experiences on my own.
If we meet, I’d love to share a mate (our traditional drink ☕), cook something together, exchange stories, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment with good company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love the idea of connecting with people in a genuine way — sharing everyday moments, learning from different ways of living, and seeing each place through the eyes of those who call it home.
I believe the most beautiful part of traveling isn’t just the places we visit, but the people we meet along the way.
Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful reminder that there’s kindness everywhere, and that the world can feel a little smaller when we open our doors and hearts to one another. 💓✨
Interests
love traveling, discovering new cultures, and connecting with people who enjoy simple but meaningful things — like laughing together, sharing stories, or watching a beautiful sunset. 🌅
I enjoy music, nature, good food, deep conversations, and those spontaneous moments that make you feel alive.
I’m always curious to learn something new, whether it’s a word in another language, a recipe, or a different way of seeing the world.
I also love animals — especially dogs and cats 🐾 — and I feel happiest when I’m surrounded by good energy and genuine people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to Argentine rock and cumbia, but I love all kinds of music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked through Bolivia, Argentina and Chile when I was 20 years old — one of the best experiences of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish, some typical Argentine recipes like empanadas or milanesas, and how to make macramé — I used to sell my handmade pieces while backpacking!
I’d love to share mate (our traditional drink), good conversations, laughs, music, and meaningful moments.
I’m always open to learning about new cultures, different ways of living, local traditions, and new flavors. I believe every person we meet has something to teach us.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m respectful, tidy, and always grateful for any space shared with me.
I truly value the small things — a good talk, a shared meal, a bit of laughter, or those deep late-night conversations that stay in the heart. ✨
I love connecting with people, listening to their stories, and exchanging experiences.
If you’d like, I can cook something from Argentina, share a mate (our traditional drink ☕), or bring a touch of warmth and calm energy to your home.
I’m also happy to help with anything around the house, and I always try to leave good energy wherever I go.
