ABOUT ME

I'm 26 years old. Y just quit my job because my plan on this year(2010) is to travel around the world. I've never been out of my own country, and i dont even know my own country entirely. But I think the world is there for us, and everyone should have the chance to see the best place on Earth.
I use to work, a week ago, in advertisement. Creating ideas for ads as a copywriter. Also i participated on the production of these ideas, as an editor, producer and assistant director.
As I said, i just quit that job, which i loved but only because i wish to know the most places i can. Take pictures of every moment, every place, because that's another thing i love to do, take pictures.

I also like to write scripts for shortfilms. I wish to be a filmmaker and you always have to start from the bottom. So shortfilms are the best way to do so. And i believe that to be a great filmmaker i have to know a lot of cultures, ways of living, lots of countries.

I consider myself as a person who likes to try something new. Very creative and fun! After all, i'm mexican, we are known fot that! hehe.

PHILOSOPHY

Being happy, or at least trying to. By any means. Working, being with the family, meeting people, visit places you've never seen, eating things you've never eaten. The point is to never stop doing the things that makes us happy. We only live once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the time I just participate surfing, because, i said i quit my job to go to playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. And that will be a great place for hosting anyone who wants to travel and see one of the most beautiful oceans of the planet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, i've stayed once before at Playa del Carmen, but it was with some of my friend's friend. SO it wasnt like this. This is why i want to experience this couchsurfing.

Interests

Traveling. Meeting people. Listen music(rock, progressive, R&B, Hip hop, rap, to mention some...). Watch movies. Read books. Editing videos. Take photographs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies? I better say Directors: Tarantino, Fincher, David Lynch, Aronofsky, Danny Boyle. Robert Rodriguez. Michel Gondry. I dont know a lot more!

Music: As i said before. Rock. Used to love grunge. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Jane's Addiction, Alice in chains. But with time one just learns to like music from all types. SO i'm open to anything new!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving. One of the most amazing things i've done in my life, and i's like to do this all around the world. Scuba diving, the second best thing. It's great knowing a little peace of the ocean, that's almost entirely unknown for all.
In Mexico one of the best things we have is our culture. Such as Mayans, one of the most complex, intelligent and amazing cultures of the world. Seen their structures, their pyramids, their communication, the way they worshiped their gods. All of it, is great to have them so close.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share my different experiencies from travels, beachs, knowledge about media(video photographs, painting). And if i can teach anyone anything, that would be fantastic.
