About Me

I'm a 60-something Aussie-American Civil/Mining Engineer
When not at the office, I'm renovating my 3 homes, adventuring or writing.
Early to bed, early to rise, I meditate with a virtual group each morning.
I like to sail, bike-race, camp, fish, ski, surf & hike as time allows.
I have successful adult children & god-children in Colorado, Iowa, Australia & the UK.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Among other adaptations, our species developed over the millennia to be never-alone.
For modern, cubicle-all-day humans, an emotional-health-hack might be: "Never Be-Asleep Alone".
The simple proximity of a living being makes all the difference.
Some people get a pet to make the empty bedroom feel less isolating.
But a pet isn't practical if you're at work all day, travel, have allergies, etc,
A roommate is better.

As my roommate, you'll have your own queen bed next to mine
in a 230 sq.ft. bedroom in in 6-bedroom house.

Our household is an Intentional Community of professionals.
Organized, clean & ship-shape.
Firepits, grills, string-lights, good vibes.
Only the most suitable candidates invited to view.
For pre-screening, I'll send you a short questionnaire.
