HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Verification is a bit expensive for me now.

Only able to be a local guide at this time for the most part. I have my daughter every other week, so I have to get her buy in, or host folks when she isn't here. I have a guest room, but bath is shared. I have a young dog as well.
North Vancouver is a beautiful suburb. I even have bears in my neighborhood, but can see skyscrapers from my house. Shopping is a 15 minute walk, bus stop a ten minute walk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have informally been a host and a guest. Folks know me for my signature gift wherever I stay: A six pack and toilet paper.

Intereses

Skiing, mountain biking, my dog, micro brews, the typical pacific northwest guy down to the flannel shirt. Did I mention skiing....?

Travelled western Europe while studying marijuana and prostitution (for real, that was my thesis), Grad school was able to research how to treat bad acid trips. Most recently I became a dual US-Canadian citizen.

As someone who immigrated to Canada I am familiar with process. I work in the medical field, so can help accessing resources and so forth. I know the area fairly well, including resources for kids.
