ABOUT ME

I am very interested in everything.

I spent the beginning of my life following a rather traditional path of education and growing up. I didn't like how my dreams were not becoming part of that reality so I started doing things a little differently. Since graduation from University, I have spent my time educating myself in life skills, such as how to farm for my own food, how to create shelter for myself (working with a yurt company), learning about medicinal herbs, wild edibles, making yogurt and cheese and bread, and some primitive survival skills.
I planned and intentionally set out on this trip to learn skills, but unintentional learned much more about life, people, myself, and catching the wave of unexpected, and unplanned opportunity. I've been riding that wave ever since.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I am just participating as a surfer, but I am hoping to provide a couch whenever I am able to provide myself with a home.:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed at many homes of people I knew or did not know, but only once through the couch surfing network. Every experience I have had thus far has been positive.

Música, películas y libros

I like most music, especially that which I can dance to. Lately there has been a lot of reggae and bluegrass in my life, but something like the fleet foxes always kindles my heart.

I once hiked 43 miles in one day in the most rugged terrain of the appalachian trail.

I can teach someone how to knit a hat, bake bread, contra dance, make yogurt, tid-bits about herbal medicine and wilderness survival, do a yoga sun salutation, a hindu chant, how to play wagon wheel on the guitar...
