I am a 33 year old IT security specialist living in Switzerland. I have been working as a cyber security specialist (a hacker-for-hire more or less, but for the good guys of course) but at the moment I am enjoying some time off until the end of 2021.

I am outgoing and never had any problems to get in touch with new folks. I especially like rural and rough landscapes but I love nature all together. There are many to-do-destinations on my list but honestly... I even prefer to be surprised by countries and regions that I don't reallly know much about and didn't have on my map before.

I am a huge fantasy and science fiction nerd and am interested in everything science-y. I am also a writer of several published novels and short stories. And if there is one thing I know about writers, it is that they are interested in absolutely everything!

I traveled quite a bit in the past and especially enjoyed travelling by myself because in my opinion you engage on a whole different level with the people you meet. Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity for that (although it's been ages since I used it to be honest, and I did only host in the past and never surfed myself).
