About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Avoid growing up.
ABOUT ME
If you spend enough time with me, you would know I am succesfully accomplishing my mission.(Avoid growing up) I grew up in New York, but moved out west to Flagstaff, AZ for graduate school. Since then I have taken work as an adjunct professor, a personal trainer and a snowboard instructor. I enjoy helping people learn new things or seeing them having fun. Although sometimes teaching can be discouraging. I work hard to stay in shape and "stay young" and will try any athletic endeavor that I come across.
PHILOSOPHY
Be patient with yourself. Barriers aren't always broken over night.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got into couchsurfing in 2007 on a backpacking trip through Europe. On our trip, we met some great people through couchsurfing who showed us around different parts of Europe. I got away from it from awhile, but had a friends get me back into it recently.
Interests
I am interested in most sports, especially football and snowboarding. Lately, I've been hooked on sand volleyball(I like to dive in the sand) and cycling. I love exploring by bike. Other than sports, I am an animal lover. Especially the bigger animals like lions, tigers, dolphins, and bears. (See how I broke that up!?!)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. I also like to read books by Mark Twain, anything regarding American History, Fitness/Conditioning, Animal Behavior...
Favorite movie is the Rocky Story. Each movie is good, but put them together and its' a great movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done was jump into a semifrozen river because I thought my puppy would get hypothermia and drown. He swam out without my help though. And then I realized we walked 1/2 mile through 6 inches of snow to get to the river, so I doubt that the cold water even bothered him.
