About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To paint the world with my words through www.mylustforlife.com
ABOUT ME
Discovered alcohol when I was 12 (normal age for Philippines), joy in reading when I was 13, sex when I was 14 (such a shame), chemicals when I was 18, traveling when I was 21, and wine when I was 22. Now I'm 25 and I'm proud to say I've found the perfect balance.
You can read my thoughts from www.mylustforlife.com
PHILOSOPHY
Citizen of the world. Borders make traveling hard, it doesn't always demarcate differences, but it gives you a reason to try.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to meet other hosts from other places and I want to share with other people how lovely my hometown is, 2-3 hours away from the capital, Manila.
Will take you to the beach, make you eat with your hands with food served on a banana leaf, the best pork knuckles you'll ever try, local villages, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fight Club, Unbearable Lightness of Being, About Time, Inception, A Year In Provence, Down and Out in Paris and London, No Reservations, Mumford and Sons, Esperanza Spalding, Antonio Vivaldi etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen the Himalayas, ate in Arzak (3 michelin stars), visited Auschwitz, fallen in love, got my heart broken, shared a general class compartment with an Indian family, pub crawl in Edinburgh, read Trainspotting, spent Christmas alone in Vienna, saw the Nuremberg Christkindlemarkt, heard the Islamic call to prayer in Morocco, UAE, and Malaysia, went to Kafka museum in Prague, met Bobby Chin in Hanoi, and a whole lot more.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be afraid of India until I finally mustered up the courage to go, they are, individually the nicest people I've met, Japanese people are probably the nicest Asians in general, like Germans are to Europe. But these are merely generalizations, which I do not always like making.
Traveling is the best education, but formal education is also important as a background in enjoying whatever you see when traveling.
The most horrible travel experiences make the best stories to tell when you get back home.
