Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel, I surf, and whenever possible I host. If I can't host, then I would still like to help out as a guide

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive done some surfing around Europe. Met up with fellow couch surfers in Poland; stayed with some surfers in Paris and Pisa. I have hosted surfers in Providenciales. Its been fun

Interests

Try something different... I'm a huge foodie, I love to be outside. One of my biggest passions is SCUBA diving, I grew up around the ocean really do love to be around the water being that Kayaking, fishing or swimming. Out of the water I enjoy hiking and cycling. Chill out with good people an listen to good music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a broad range of movies including "Gladiator", "Blood Diamond", "Cool Runnings", "Fight Club", "Schindlers List", "Into the Wild", "Shawshank Redemtion" the X-men series and "Life is Beautiful".

I normally listen to reggae music (and similar tastes) but I also enjoy some folk, jazz, hip-hop and classical.

I've liked authors like Clive Cussler, Dan Brown and Diana Gabaldon but have also read a few books within the post-appocolyptic genre. I know that sounds quite dark at first, but you read into some powerful aspects of humanity and understand the fragility of society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with humpback whales (a mother and calf) of Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands. They stayed and swam around with us for a little more than an hour! There is no way to explain how incredible that was.

Bungee Jumping in Bristol, England was really exciting. Next step is to go Skydiving.

My visit to Auschwitz was made particularly powerful by a group of Orthodox Jews who were also visiting the site. At the end of my visit I walked into a building, looking out the window onto the railroad tracks and concentration camp - I could hear the Jews singing in hebrew. The sadness in the song and the sight in front of me really hit me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I may be able to teach some cooking recipees and if you visit me at my home, I can teach you a lot of the country. I can teach you to swim or snorkel.

Id be open to learning just about anything and at the moment am trying to teach myself to kite surf.
